We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Scrum Master to support a federal government client in advancing AI and automation initiatives. This position requires a strong ability to gather and translate requirements from diverse stakeholders ranging from technical teams to government leadership into actionable deliverables and technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, Agile project management, technical solution quality and delivery, and ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities. 

The candidate responsibilities included but are not limited to: 

  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to capture operational needs, AI and automation opportunities, and workflow improvement areas. 
  • Analyze current-state processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, or areas suitable for AI and automation. 
  • Recommend AI and automation strategies that reduce manual effort and improve consistency across government systems. 
  • Design and implement AI and automation workflows informed by operational requirements, business rules, and known system capabilities. 
  • Collaborate with senior developers, project managers, testers and client stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented. 
  • Assess post-implementation data and user feedback to recommend enhancements to business workflows. 
  • Lead Agile team activities including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user story refinement. 
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation using tools like Confluence; manage task tracking through JIRA. 
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation for automations, provide regular and transparent updates on task progress. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Public Trust Clearance 
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Product Owner, ideally within federal government or consulting environments. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail 
  • Ability to break down complex processes clearly and logically. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences. 
  • Experience in a project-based technical delivery environment. 
  • Experience with DHS or USCIS. 
  • Experience supporting Agile teams using tools such as JIRA and Confluence. 
  • Experience with UiPath, AWS, and generative AI solutions. 

 You will contribute to developing solutions that help the Federal government serve the public by working closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy low-code intelligent automation solutions, offering you a unique opportunity to build your technical skills, collaborate with experienced developers, and contribute to real world impact. 

The candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions using UiPath and other technologies as required to improve operational efficiency. Adhere to standards and guidelines and produce high quality work. 
  • Work closely with senior developers, project managers, and clients to understand requirements, provide input on technical solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. Communicate honestly and responsibly. 
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation for automations, including robust comments and annotations, ensuring clarity and enabling smooth handoffs in a distributed development environment. Provide regular and transparent updates on task progress. 
  • Support the troubleshooting of automation issues, working with the team to identify root causes and implementing fixes promptly. 
  • Participate in training and development programs, improving your functional and technical skills. Maintain basic familiarity with current and emerging technical trends. 
  • Applied knowledge of UiPath and its core functionalities; AI Center and Document Understanding are a plus. 
  • Understanding of basic software development principles (e.g., loops, conditions, and error handling). 
  • Working knowledge of data formats such as JSON, XML, or Excel. 
  • Knowledge of basic scripting in Python; other languages like C# or VB are a plus. 
  • Basic knowledge of data stores and how to access and manipulate stored data. 
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git. 
  • Familiarity with agile development principles and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Two (2) – Three (3) years of experience in automation programming; UiPath is preferred but other similar platforms will be considered. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Active Public Trust clearance. 
  • Hybrid (Remote/DC Metro) 
  • Demonstrable contributions in a project-based environment; educational experience is acceptable. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly. 
  • Eagerness to learn and adopt new technologies. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. 
  • Public-sector consulting experience is a plus. 
  • UiPath certifications or training is a plus. 

We are seeking a cloud automation engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be working 100% remote and will focus on automation in support of the cloud infrastructure team. A candidate in this position will work as part of an enterprise cloud services team and will assist in the automation of cloud infrastructure, ensuring efficient, reliable, and scalable operations. The candidate will be part of a team of automation engineers implementing automation tools and processes. This role will develop and implement the automation needs for the cloud infrastructure team.

The candidate responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and deploy comprehensive cloud automation strategy to meet the cloud team’s automation requirements
  • Identify automation tools and best practices and support the adoption of the tools and practices across the cloud team
  • Analyze existing cloud processes and identify areas where automation can be implemented to optimize cloud processes
  • Support the automation needs of the cross-functional cloud infrastructure team
  • Identify and implement cloud strategies to increase self-service infrastructure deployments using cloud native services
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure availability, scalability, and security through automation
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud services and resources through automation
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CDK, and CloudFormation in support of streamlined deployment and management of cloud infrastructure
  • Automate cloud infrastructure team reporting on service usage, cost, etc.
  • Support the development governance documentation and standard operation procedures for automated processes and tools


Basic Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Five (5) years of experience preferred in cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or other public cloud services with an emphasis on AWS experience
  • Three (3) years of experience writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CDK, and CloudFormation preferred
  • Three (3) years of experience in Python, or similar cloud scripting language, and AWS SDK (e.g. Boto3) preferred
  • Experience using Python, or similar scripting, with Boto3, or similar SDKs, to implement automation, reporting, service interrogation in a multi-account environment
  • One (1) cloud certification preferred at the associate level or higher in AWS preferred
  • Experience with automating self-service deployments using AWS cloud services (e.g. AWS Service Catalog or other similar services)
  • Experience analyzing existing processes then identifying opportunities for automation
  • Experience with automation reporting on cloud infrastructure services
  • Experience with automation in an AWS multi-account organization
  • Candidate must hold or be able to obtain Public Trust

This role supports the maintenance, enhancement and modernization of complex Federal enterprise applications. The candidate is responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing application code in an Agile Scrum framework. This role requires troubleshooting challenging technical problems and collaborating with web and infrastructure teams to identify, resolve, and test solutions. As a senior developer, the candidate should lead technical discussions and provide guidance in the planning and implementation of prioritized deliverables.

Skills and Abilities

  • Solid understanding of design, development, databases, and testing methodologies
  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems using a combination of front-end languages such as React, Angular, and JavaScript, middleware solutions like Drupal, and backend frameworks including Java, Springboot, MySQL, and Oracle
  • Strong attention to detail with proven problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multi-faceted team managing the full IT ecosystem for the client
  • Ability to mentor more junior developers by bringing experience and depth to the design and development review process

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, another related discipline, or equivalent work experience in the software development field
  • 5+ years of object-oriented development experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on, strong Java development experience
  • 3+ years of experience with database technologies
  • Strong proficiency in Angular 4+ and React frameworks
  • Hands on experience building and migrating applications into AWS and Azure cloud environments
  • Experience with application containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Jenkins, Git)
